Just outside the hotel door is Calle Genova, offering a variety of street vendors, cafes and shops along a park-like space. Uriel and Sebastian were always friendly and helpful at the front desk and bar. Adjacent to the front desk is a bar with basic alcoholic beverages. The lobby has a free breakfast in a bright, open area with self-service fresh fruit, pastries, meat, cheese, coffee and juice. The rooms are adequate size and comfortable. The hotel is new, clean and modern with contemporary, bright decor. We stayed two weekend nights at Ibis Styles Mexico Zona Rosa and had a fantastic time on our first visit to Mexico City. Still, I very much liked this hotel and the location is great, metrobus and subway are super close and it's a very safe neighborhood, plenty of restaurants nearby (try casa del tono!!!), if i'll ever have the chance again to be in mexico d.f. There is only one detail which I havent particularly loved, the bathroom door is just a coloured glass, so you got to be very intimate with your partner (u know what i mean) and the shower (which is huge btw) has a glass door aswell so whenever u use, the water will flood the bathroom. We've stayed on first floor overlooking the street on a weekend and the noise wasnt a big problem, wifi worked perfectly in the room. a guy whose name unfortunately i can't recall but he was ALWAYS there!! He was helping us big time with the many many questions we had. Breakfast was good, the staff was very helpful and smiling, espec. We arrived 7am and were lucky enough to get the room straightaway. It is a great property, everything is new and colorful.
